Drug Awareness Prayer to combat the sale of drugs in Komani

Chris Hani District Police Spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela says they have started in several areas that they have identified as hotspots and have mapped out areas that are used for car repair or alcohol sales but later turn into a place of selling drugs.

She says that young people are losing their future and are dropping out of school due to the easy availability of drugs in various places. Mgolodela alluded that a few arrests have been made in relation to people selling drugs in Komani.

Captain Mgolodela is also calling on parents to cooperate by not protecting their children who are accused of being involved in crime but by reporting them to the police and facing the law.
