The students of the Art Academy in Ngcobo are preparing for an exciting trip to Johannesburg, where they will represent the Eastern Cape Province in the national Water and Sanitation Competition. This follows their recent success in the provincial round, where they impressed judges with their creativity and commitment.
The school, led by Principal Lwazi Mditshwa, continues to excel in various areas. “This school performs very well, and that encourages me a lot,” said Mr. Mditshwa.
“We are grateful for the recognition and the funding we receive, which will help the school further improve. We really appreciate the effort of everyone involved. We thank the supporters and the parents.”

One of the parents, Ms. Nolubabalo Magadla, expressed her pride and hope for the learners. “We are very motivated and will always support our children,” she said. “In the past, we didn’t have opportunities like these. But now, our children are being given a chance, and we encourage them as much as we can.”
The community of Ngcobo is standing behind these young learners as they prepare to showcase their talents on a national stage.
