This week belongs to Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) as they officially launch their 2022 Summer Campaign today in Port Edward.

The launch is aimed at promoting and driving domestic tourism during this coming festive season.

“We want to showcase Eastern Cape as a suitable holiday destination for this festive season, but most importantly to grow its market share of domestic travelers. We struggled a lot during the Covid-19 time and we need to recover from that loss and boost our economy,” said Oyanga Ngalika of Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency

Ngalika also confirmed that the MEC for Finance, Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism in the Eastern Cape Mlungisi Mvoko will officially launch the Eastern Cape Summer Campaign.

Executive Mayor of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality Cllr Dan Mafumbatha is expected to welcome everyone while Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency Chief Executive Officer Vuyani Dayimani is also expected to talk to the guests.
